CHIME is more than just a charitable trust—it’s a lifeline for children born with congenital heart disease. Established by MIOT International in 2007, CHIME is dedicated to providing life-saving surgeries for children from underprivileged families who cannot afford critical medical treatments. With a focus on congenital heart disease, CHIME has been making a significant impact, offering these children a chance to lead healthier, fuller lives.
In collaboration with the MIOT Centre for Children’s Cardiac Care, CHIME organises free medical camps throughout Tamil Nadu. These camps not only provide essential medical care but also bring hope to families who may feel overwhelmed by their child’s condition. Through these efforts, CHIME reassures parents, offering them the belief that their child's condition is treatable and that financial concerns should not stand in the way of life-saving treatment.
Over the past 17 years, CHIME has helped over 1,300 children, restoring their health and their future. This success is made possible by the generosity of patrons and volunteers, whose support has been instrumental in creating a brighter, healthier future for these children. Each story of healing represents more than just a medical procedure; it’s the revival of a child’s smile and a family’s hope for tomorrow.
