CHIME has already made a beginning with 10 free surgeries and several subsidized surgeries performed by the MIOT Centre for Children’s Cardiac Care.

CHIME is a trust that has been founded by MIOT Hospitals to provide free treatment for poor children suffering from congenital heart diseases.

CHIME will offer free surgery for affected children, regardless of community, caste, race and religion. CHIME offers treatment for all children with heart diseases, from newborn to adolescent, through the dedicated MIOT Centre for Children’s Cardiac Care.

CHIME proposes to carry out the following in the coming months

• Free screening camp in every district in Tamilnadu in the next 12 months

• Offer 200-300 surgeries for children from these camps

• Take steps to create awareness, educate the public and medical community

While MIOT Centre for Children’s Cardiac Care will offer the services of their skilled doctors free of cost, we will need assistance in meeting the treatment and surgical cost.
